Can it be applied over existing tiles?＋
Overlay renovation may be considered where the substrate is sound, tiles are firmly bonded and moisture, levels and drainage are suitable. Cleaning, repairs and appropriate preparation remain essential; the method is confirmed on site.
Can it be used in bathrooms and damp areas?＋
Waterproofing, drainage and the substrate must be assessed first. An anti-slip topcoat is recommended in wet areas. A surface coating does not repair structural or plumbing leaks or reduce ambient humidity.
Can I buy materials and use my own installer?＋
Yes. Contact a partner distributor for materials. Your installer should follow product guidance and site requirements. SHINKA can also discuss samples, material selection and installation coordination.
